SUGGEST DISEASES/AFFLICTIONS

FORMAT:

NAME: CAUSE, SYMPTOMS, CURE

Ideas list:

  • Tetanus: Stab wounds, DEATH, tetanus shot
  • Cold: Hanging around sewers, lost health, time
  • Bleeding: Getting shot, gradual death, bandages
  • Dementia: Randomly but very rare, bad shit, death (lolk)
  • Broken shoulder: Hipfiring large guns, dropping weapon, picking your weapon back up
  • Fucked lungs: Smoking, gradual damage, expensive shot.
  • Trauma: Surviving explosion, blindness/deafness, death
  • Hobodenavelis: Hoboshit, gradual death, cheap medication (Since it's very common)
  • Dazed: Damage to head, blurs, time
  • Aids: VERY rare from hoboshit, death after 15-20 mins, death
  • Major burn: Fire, gradual death, special burn ointment


All of these will have awesome visual effects. Stuff like the major burns will make pieces of charred flesh fall off you when you run, etc.

Lung Toxicity: Weed and other drugs you smoke that drug dealer can sell (If you can fix it), Expensive shot costing up to 1000$ to achieve.

They will get cold from basically any water, and the only water is in the sewer sooo...

This is cool but there is the possibility of contracting something and if there is to plague doctors on the server you're pretty much screwed as to getting cured.

STARTED CODING DISEASE MOD FROM SCRATCH TODAY

It will be using a more... modular system.
It will have a data table full of data tables for each disease. It's like inception. This is what the disease list will look like when it's done:

....."cold"={"cough"},
....."aids"={"pain", "death_longwait"},
....."hobo_aids"={"pain", "vomit", "death_shortwait"}
}

You get the point

Listening to someone describe Lua code, and understanding it isn't normal

On C++ it is.

Anyways, is there going to be a way for the player to know that they have contracted something, like in the form of a notice on the top right corner of the screen, if they have the cold they will hear coughing, or if they're bleeding there is a trail of blood, ect.
